Ruins In Reverse
SD Colour Video, 10 mins (2010)
Ruins In Reverse is a single shot exploration into the state of flux that Peckham (South London) was experiencing within its community, architecture and future at the time of making the film. It focuses upon one building, 1-5 Bournemouth Road that was once part of the Holdron's Department Store, a vast complex of shops that used to be the highlight of Peckham.
Voices in the film are all residents of Peckham including lifetime resident Doris Daniels, Architect David Hingamp, Southwark Councillor Micheal Bukola and Green Party member Anna Plodowski.
