Dr. David Roden has worked for the Open University as a lecturer and associate lecturer.

 

His published work addresses the relationship between deconstruction and analytic philosophy, philosophical naturalism, the metaphysics of sound and posthumanism. He is the author of Posthuman Life: Philosophy at the Edge of the Human (Routeldge, 2014) and has written a number of papers and contributed to a number of texts on posthumanism.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Roden generously allowed me to come and visit him for a chat in his hometown of Bristol in October 2017. During which we took a walk to discuss some of the ideas behind his work, his interest in posthuman philosophy and his formative years (please excuse my dodgy camerawork and dirty lens) before settling down to have a fascinating chat about his richly complex book Posthuman Life: Philosophy at the Edge of the Human.
